Morton E. Marvin
Morton Marvin is a past president of the Connecticut Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and a Charter Member of the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. He has served as Co-Chairman of the Stamford Superior Court’s Special Masters Program for Family Cases. He serves as a Special Master for Family Cases in the Bridgeport and Stamford Courts.
Mr. Marvin has been continuously listed in The Best Lawyers In America* since 1989, and has been named by Connecticut Magazine, The Connecticut Law Tribune, and New York Magazine as one of Connecticut’s top family and matrimonial lawyers. In addition, he has been recognized by Connecticut Super Lawyers** and New England Super Lawyers, Westchester Magazine, the Martindale Hubbell Register of Preeminent Lawyers, and has been named one of Worth Magazine’s 100 Top Attorneys since 2007.
Mr. Marvin is a member of the American Bar Association and the Connecticut Bar Association as well as the Family Law Section of each. He is also a member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association. He has served as Secretary and Treasurer of the Connecticut Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Mr. Marvin has lectured to the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants and at many seminars conducted by the Connecticut Chapter. Mr. Marvin received his Bachelor of Arts from The University of Connecticut and his Juris Doctor from Boston University. He is admitted to practice at the bar of the State of Connecticut, the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut, and the United States Supreme Court.
